In For the Long Haul

World No. 3 Victoria Azarenka tells reporters that it’s possible that she, No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki and No. 2 Petra Kvitova could hold the top three spots in the WTA for a long time. Those three players range in age from 20 to 22 years old. "Three, five years, it's such a long time. My God, I don't know," she said. "But I think Petra, me, Caroline, we have been pretty consistent and showed some great results this year. I really stepped it up, especially Petra who won a Grand Slam, really made it to the elite, I would say. I think the way the game is today, it's unpredictable, but definitely with the consistency with the game we have, we have a chance to dominate the game."


Get used to seeing them, guys.

Well, seems Angry Bird's beak is yapping A)I like on what she said about the Ostrich. B)Dead wrong on what she said about the Bunny. C)I have mix feelings about what A. Bird said about herself, C1)No one should toot their own horn, it makes them sound like a jackass. C2)How could A. Bird be consistent when she is snap, crackle, and pop? Probably she thinks she will get healthier as she gets older. *I'm being sarcastic* C3)A. Bird should learn how to win matches on all big stages only winning in Miami is not going to cut it. C4)I know this really well, no matter how she much she controls her anger at some point she will blow up. It is not something I'm wishing on her is something that has the possibility of happening again at any given moment; like in a losing streak. C5)Cockiness always comes back to bite, now her rivals are going be more determined to prove her wrong.







Captain and Clefairy, I would like to apologize for my behavior on a previous post. Never mind the bad history that I have with that individual as you know, but I wasn't going to seat there and have that someone insult everyone on this blog. I know everyone who is a blogger or comments on this blog (Caps321, Clefairy, and you Captain) have class not to engage in a war of words but I'm just a punk with a big mouth, I know it is not an excuse but that individual crossed the line. It may be strike one for me but frankly it felt good, you know why Captain. Let me know when I cross the line.

Carlos, I thought it was rather humorous seeing that we seem to like more foreign tennis players than Americans.

I think Angry Bird has wishful thinking. While I believe she's a bona fide top 10 player, assuming she'll reside in the top 3 for years to come is shaky at best. Especially considering her snap, crackle and pop history. I mean, if ya can't defend points...

After this post I'll ignore you, talking to you is like wrestling a pig and when a person wrestles a pig, all the person gets is muddied and the pig likes it, but you knew that already. Yes, I did had my war of words with the "Lack Luster Genius" at WTB. Like you the douche couldn't handle the truth, come to think about it you both are from the same rotten pus ilk. I'll dedicate you a song in honor of one of your favorite players, Hingis: Eric Clapton's "Cocaine". Lastly, "eat it" and buen provecho. Toodle.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova will sub for Maria Kirilenko in the fourth singles rubber of the Fed Cup final between Russia and the Czech Republic in Moscow, Pavlyuchenkova said on Twitter. Kirilenko was beaten by Czech Petra Kvitova 6-2, 6-2 in the first match of the tie, and has been practicing with Elena Vesnina in doubles, so it appears that Russian captain Shamil Tarpischev wants to give his-highest ranked singles player a shot at the veteran Lucie Safarova. Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova defeated Safarova 6-2, 6-3 in the second rubber to even the tie at 1-1. Kvitova will play Kuznetsova in the first reverse singles.

Ostrich gets the early break on Kuzzie and is up 1-0 on serve.

Caps I still believe it will come down to the doubles match and the Russian Captain knows it. The Princess and Vesnina makes a lethal doubles combo, at least on paper. If Safarova doesn't pull an upset the Russians take the cake.

Have to agree with that doubles talk....

Meanwhile, Ostrich just lost the first set to Kuzzie. And this is their first meeting as well.

The set lasted about an hour and it was rather close but I'm unsure of the exact score. Probably something like 6-4.

Anyway, I don't have the sound on because my feed is in Russian, eh.

Didn't even realize the doubles was played today. I'm not very happy about Vesnina/Princess getting worked over. (Not sure if they've teamed before but both are pretty good at doubles, IMO.)

I don't really care about which country wins just the individual player results.

The 24-year-old Ivanovic is projected to rise to around No. 22 when the rankings are released on Monday. "I believe so, " Ivanovic said when asked if she could return to No. 1. What in the world is Anabel Medina smoking? Or was she being too nice and polite? Hell no! The Fist Pumping Imbecile doesn't have the mentality. All you have to do is win the first set and she will fold like a cheap hooker. If the Imbecile wins the first set all the opponent has to do is play hard in the second, from that point the Imbecile will give the opponent the second set, by the third she will be there like a bump on a log. It doesn't matter how fit the imbecile gets again -and that is code for shedding the extra pounds that gained- she doesn't have the ovaries to engage in a fight on-court.

If any of her Imbecilites say, "But she has won in Bali two years in a row", well whoopie doodle doo! Last year when she won this tournament the Imbecile was ranked in top 20, this year before Bali she was outside the top 25! "Projected to rise around 22". To have the same player win this tournament back to back while the ranking of that player is going downward only shows this tournament is a total human waste. The Imbecile doesn't have the chops to take top opponents much less top opponents on a back to back basis. The more her team changes the more she stays the same.



I agree with you Caps the Russians doubles team of Vesnina and the Princess should have kicked butt. Like I said, on paper they were the better team and to lose on home field takes it to the "Double Ouch!" factor.


Speaking of Russians, did Ms. Lickitongue file for retirement?

Concerning Lickitongue - If this whole politics thing doesn't work out one would assume she'd be back for tennis action. However, guess that depends on how much money she has in the bank and if other income opportunities make themselves known. Because its painfully obvious she probably isn't going to get well enough to compete w/o pulling out of tournaments left and right.

Concerning Imbecile - You can rest assured she will never, ever be #1 in the rankings again.

Sadly Angry Big Mac is not married to Angry Bird, but ALL the rumors that you heard Mr. Caps every single one of them are true! The midnight rendezvous, all those tryst, the secret vacations, have happened! O_O It was A. Bird's tongue won that over ABM's heart, he finds it strangely attractive and worked wonders on those special moments. ;) :P ...and I always wanted to talk in the third person haha. :P



Back to the Imbecile: somewhere after she won her slam she lost her game, her confidence, and focus. She is now more interested in doing photo shoots than hitting the courts to correct her game. Her mind is somewhere else when she is playing a match, either she is thinking walking down a red carpet, a new pose for her next photo shoot, or maybe a party; in the mean time her opponents are taking advantage of her mental lapse. After she loses she blames everyone (her team), her health (she makes up illness or injuries), the journalist who point out the obvious, or any other factor. I haven't heard the Imbecile take responsibility for a loss. At best she can crack the top ten again, at best, but to be ranked number one? I don't see it unless she uses the Bunny's formula, in that case I will really throw a fit. I hope I'm not giving The Fist Pumping Imbecile any ideas.



Why is it that women Russian tennis players all want to go into politics after their tennis career are over? Money? Power?

Aaaaah Mr. Caps you are pulling all the dirty laundry and skeletons out of the closet. Ms. Lickitongue now my ex had an extra ordinary tongue, ;) sadly we amicably parted ways. What I have with Angry Bird is what is called "something on the side" since she is already in an official relationship. We kept it a secret for as long as we could to protect her reputation, from the media, and an angry boyfriend. But now I have set my eyes on someone new, care to guess Mr. Caps who that is?



I already have a dark horse for AO 12 and I'm going with the "Trickster" Aggie. Depending on the draw I have her easily in the QF possibly SF.

I don't know about the Kookie Monster since her return to tennis she has been very inconsistent.

What I question with Serena is health an age which go hand in hand.

I would love the Kookie Monster and Serena to prove me wrong, but most importantly I want to see high level tennis from them and everyone else.

Mr. Angry, who is Birds regular boyfriend? Sounds to me like she was just a booty call.. Not anything wrong with that!

But now I have set my eyes on someone new, care to guess Mr. Caps who that is?

Is she in the top 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100? Which one? I need 1 in 10 odds to guess.

Yeah, you never know which Kimmie is going to show up. But, my money is on her winning against Serena if that comes to pass and an Ostrich match should be superb assuming Petra is on her game.

IMO, if Aggie's shoulder is 100% (still not sure exactly what her injury is?) she should do very well. But, still can get overpowered when playing well.

Mr. Caps Angry Bird's regular boyfriend was a guy that once dressed in women's clothing...whatever rocks his jollies, I'm not a judgemental person. I think the Captain and Clefairy can give you more information on the gentleman.

The secret meetings or "booty call" as you say Mr. Caps were very frequent raging from once a week to three times a week, now the whole world knows Bird/ABM's personal business. All I can say is Ms. Angry Bird is one hell of a "booty call" aaaaah that tongue. ;) In those moments she was able to put a smile on my face, I was simply "Big Mac" not "Mr. Angry" or "Angry Big Mac". :P

Your hint Mr. Caps she is ranked somewhere 10-20. Good luck!




I don't know the intensity of the Trickster's injury. If it is not serious with the lay off that she will get her shoulder could be healed. You are right Caps she has to learn how to handle the big pops. I think she needs to go to the gym and gain a strength not muscle. Also she must not allow to be over-tricked like she was at the USO 11.

1)The Captain gave her the nickname and 2)her nickname is related to the movie Mr. Bean. 3)She is a blond of course.
